Pushy Pushy!

About a year ago we had some problems with our car not starting. Occasionally, when we would try to start Sassy Silver (that's the car's name!), we would get nothing. This happened on and off for a couple of days and then mysteriously disappeared... until last week! It happened again, once or twice, and then was fine for a couple of days. But last Saturday, as we ventured to Idaho Falls to run a bunch of errands, we ended up pushing the car to pop the clutch each time we would stop it! Luckily we own a car with a manual transmission or we would have been dead in the water! Although this turned out to be somewhat of a pain, it was slightly funny that we sought out the furthest parking spaces with lots of room to push and if we were lucky, a slight incline to help us with the task!

Fast forward to Black Friday, and with a couple more pushing excursions under our belt, a brand new starter, and a Mr. Fix-It Brother-In-Law... we now have a car that starts... every time!!! So this Thanksgiving, we are thankful for knowing how to pop the clutch to start the car... and for Rob, who fixed our car so we don't have to do that anymore! (at least not for a while!)
