Even though we were looking for bunnies that wouldn't get quite so big, we're glad we found you. We loved watching your quirky hopping, and the way you ate the garden lettuce so fast, and how you loved carrots, but not strawberries! We thought it was pretty funny that you would dig your food out of the bowl just to find the seeds you liked so much, and how you would sometimes only eat the seeds and leave the rest!
We loved to pet your soft fur, even if it was hard to get you to hold still long enough, and all the neighbor kids loved to pet you too! We did not especially love getting scratched by you when we tried to pick you up, but we did realize that was something that comes with having bunnies... so we got over it! We know that we forgot to feed you sometimes, and we didn't always play with you a lot, but we still miss you, and we will never forget that you were our very first pets.
And... we promise that if we ever see that raccoon, Jacob will get the gun and the rest will be revenge history!

Darn that 'coon!
I yelled and screamed at our dog after she "played" with my bunny (though I think she only lasted a weekend, not three months). It's sad, I'm sorry!
