Wheelin'

This past Saturday we went 4-Wheeling with some friends from our ward. They took us out in the middle of nowhere (somewhere close to Leadore & Lone Pine - both map dots!) and we piled on the 4-wheelers and headed up the mountain. It was a beautiful day, not too hot & not too cold! We stopped several places along our way to the top, just to explore and give the 3 kids a break from the riding! In the ol' days, there was mining going on in the canyon, so there was lots of old mining stuff and cabins to check out! It was so nice to get out and enjoy nature, and there were tons of wild flowers along the whole trip!

We even got some good scenery pictures to add to our repetoire that we started using for computer screen backgrounds! We had a blast, and spent most of the day in the mountains.

On our way home we stopped in Lone Pine (which isn't really a town, just a couple buildings in the middle of nowhere!). We heard there was a guy there that made awesome hamburgers, so we had to stop and try one! We all ordered a cheeseburger which turned out to be the size of a small dinner plate - and that was the "small" burger!!! It was delicious though!

We had plenty of time to stop & smell the flowers... and get in a little Tai-Chi!
