What We Did on the 4th

Our 4th of July activites consisted of the normal things that go on during that time of year... Sitting in the sun @ the parade, walking a mile to get back to your car, fighting crowds of people at festival celebrations, and scoping an out-of-the-way spot to watch the fireworks show. But, our day did consist of 1, not-so-ordinary activity in which only 1 of us actually participated!

Jacob got the itch... the $5 was paid... the waiver was signed... and THIS is what happened:

The result... "I'm too old for this," which included complaining about sore muscles for several days afterward! But, in his defense, he did ride for 2 minutes, spur the bull, take off & wave his hat, and gathered a crowd of spectators that cheered when he was finished!

Glad that's now out of the system!

Better than getting it out of his system on a real bull, right? :-)

Lookin' good Jake - maybe it's time you turned pro!

Seems like whichever Hartwell gets to the computer first speaks for the both of us.

I can't believe he used to ride real-life buckin' animals!

I am willing to bet he is still complaining. We are all getting a little old.
