What is that smell in the air, lurking behind every closed door, and overtaking every other nice, sweet & otherwise good smell that ever existed? It's manure! That's right... good old-fashioned, fertilize your garden and stink up everything else, cow poop! Yes it's good for the soil, but does it have to take place right in our very backyard? (or at least right behind our very backyard!) There is a large wheat field behind us, and for the last few days they have been dumping and spreading manure on it, meanwhile poisoning our nice, fresh, country air. Oh wait, maybe this is what country air usually smells like! Jacob just takes a big whiff and says things like, "Smells like money," and Ava, well, she doesn't really notice and still continues to want to play outside and subject anyone watching her to the nearly eye-watering smell (which is usually ME!). If you could see a smell, I'm 100% certain that this particular one would be the color puke green and could be seen seeping and oozing into unwanted places. Kind of like what you see on cartoons!
Welcome to Firth! Now who wants to come and visit?!
