"If you build it, they will come"

Or, in our case, "If you hang a bird feeder in the tree, the snow will come... and the rain, and the wind, and the hail!" Crazy weather we're having in Idaho today! We did decide to hang out our newly acquired bird feeder, because it has been pretty nice over the past week or so. So nice that the snow is mostly melted! About 10 minutes after the feeder was hung, the wind began to blow... hard! A few minutes later, rain quickly turning to snow was added to the blowing to create that blizzard effect! 20 minutes later... sunny... snowing stopped! 1 hour later... hail which lasted for a couple minutes and then magically transformed to large, feathery pieces of snow! So, the bird feeder must have the same effect as washing your car!

PS. To combat the snowing that rained on my parade of wishing in the Spring... I put out all my Easter and Spring decorations! That's right... it's still February, but my house says it's April!!! Bring on the Spring!
