Ava chose the Ribbon Tie for her rodeo event this year. Contestants in this event get a ribbon that they run out to a waiting goat & tie somewhere on it. Ava's first rodeo was the Ribbon Pull, so now she's pulled one off & tied one on! She was able to participate at the same time as one of her friends which made it even better!
Emma's choice was the Stick Pony Race. Our stick unicorn has now been to 2 rodeos & still come out clean! Emma was excited for this event, but when Chicken Scramble time came, she was less than thrilled to participate. She was adamant about not going into the arena until she saw a friend to stand by. She made it in to be with her friend, but once the chasers were released she would have nothing to do with it. So alas, we came home chicken-less this year (which is good news for the neighbors since we had every intention of sending it to their house if we got one!)
