Fast forward a week & the kids pond is now open. We loaded up our gear to try our hand again. This time was a tad more successful in the catching department, but the size of the fish went down... a lot!

Just Fishin'
The day before Father's Day we took Jacob fishing. We headed for the kids pond, but ended up being 1 day shy of it's opening day. Instead, we took to the Snake River nearby & caught nothing. Like usual, I forgot the camera, but there wasn't much happening to snap pics of anyway! We moved along to a different spot on the river where I caught the only fish of the day - a decent sized small mouth bass (I think)! So much for Father's Day fishing!
