Jacob has new reason to "whistle while [he] works." This past week, another Taxidermist friend with his own business decided he was too busy with other work & things to have his own business. He called Jacob to say that he wanted to turn ALL of the work he has over to Jacob to complete. Sad & happy news all at the same time. We are sad to see a fellow business owner go, but happy for the work & income that it will provide for us. Not to mention the potential expansion of client base!
Whenever the future of self-employment begins to look bleak & dreary, we are snapped back to reality with a blessing like this to prove to us & remind us that this was a good decision for us & things are going to be okay! We are grateful for those moments.
So, onward to the next Taxidermy Competition coming up in just over a month. You can bet you'll be seeing pictures of more winning ribbons & hearing the sounds of distant whistling along the way!
