Our little Emma is 1 years old today! She is such a fun kid to have around & she is ALWAYS smiling! Her smile is SO contagious to us... and people @ church, the grocery store, the restaurant or anywhere else we go! She likes to smile & wave @ everyone which provides happy entertainment for people standing behind us in any kind of line!
Here are some fun things about Emma & her first year:
* Loves to eat, even if she has just eaten. It is an absolute MUST for her to eat what we're eating
* Knows where her head & her ears are
* Understands the word "bath" & gets super excited when she hears it
* Is currently sporting 7 teeth & 2 of them are finally her front 2, so now she doesn't look as much like a vampire!
* Likes to use those teeth to chew the paint off her crib when she's supposed to be napping!
* Has learned to "fake cough" & thinks it's funny, especially when you do it back
* Likes to dance when she hears music
* Ava is her favorite person. She loves to play with her, sneak into her room, chew on her toys & pull the clothes out of her drawers
* Wants to play with/get into EVERYTHING! We should have been more prepared for that since "Emma" means "embraces everything."
We all love Emma to pieces!

Dave mentioned that Ava was signed up for Kindergarten!!!
I love time. But sometimes, it's just too fast.
I can't believe Emma is 1 year old now! It seems like you just had her Anna. She is adorable...just like Ava. We miss you guys and hope to see you this summer!
