Back in December, on our Anniversary, Jacob called the radio station that we frequent most to wish me a happy anniversary. This specific station takes all the birthday & anniversary names that they receive during the week & puts them into a drawing every Friday (one prize for anniversaries & one for birthdays). Out of the 6 anniversaries that particular week, our names were chosen as the winners & we were treated to a prime rib dinner for 2 @ a nice restaurant, dinner being equipped with everything: appetizer, drinks, entree & dessert!
Later that same day the same station had a trivia ? about a certain country artist & Jacob happened to know the answer. Just for fun he called in & actually got through, gave his correct answer & won! This time a gift certificate to breakfast @ another local restaurant! While on the radio, he told the DJ that it must have been his lucky day for winning twice in the same day! They agreed, but told him that he couldn't win again for 2 months.
Now, 5 months later, the very same radio station called the taxidermy shop looking for Jacob. Seems last week he faxed in a request in hopes to win lunch for him & his co-workers. Today they chose his fax as the lunch winner, & he gets a $50 G.C. to yet another restaurant! Now, if that's not LUCKY!!!

I love winning radio contests like that. That's the only way Deidra and I got to go out during our first year or so of marriage. :) Congrats!
