Out For the Day

Husband & Wife spent most of their Saturday out... together... and alone! What a great day! Jacob started his day out with a little pheasant hunting with some friends. (Probably the way he would start everyday if he could!) We ran some errands together, went hunting for baby stuff, checked out a store that has been long-awaiting our visit, and then it was off to lunch. For lunch we headed to Pocatello, the home of Red Lobster, only my all-time favorite expensive restaurant! It's one of those that you only get to once every few years! We had a super yummy lunch and a fabulous waitress (necessary for a good dining experience). Since the restaurant was right next to the mall, we opted for a stroll to check it out and ended up finding a couple cool stores to which I will be returning at a later date! We hit an arcade for a little while to appease our competitive sides, and then decided we were brave enough to visit a couple car lots, skirt the salesman's questions, and test drive a new car. OK, it wasn't totally new, but a very nice used, and it made us not want to get in our own car to drive home! (Chrysler Town & Country... in case you were wondering). The actual plan was to stop another place so Jacob could drive a new truck, but time did not permit, so we headed home... the long way! It was a great day and a great way to relax, get out of our same-old rut and regroup our slightly insane faculties!
