Now on to the real stuff... pumpkins & costumes. Our ward has a harvest party each year with one of the events being a pumpkin carving/decorating contest. We opted to enter this year & here are the results. 1 for Ava & 1 for Jacob... me being the "supervisor." Nearly everyone at the party was very aware who the owner of @ least 1 of the pumpkins was!!!
After much deliberation & mind-changing, Ava chose to dress as a fairy this year. (A costume easily purchased & much less time consuming than last year's Carrie Underwood!) She was able to have several chances to wear her costume, so it got plenty of use! Some days she opted to be a "bad fairy" - complete with evil laugh; other days she was just a regular "good fairy." Here are some pics of Ava in her costume on various occasions (except Boo @ the Zoo, because we forgot the camera!)
