First, an actual homemade breakfast... the kind that doesn't involve any type of cereal! And the kind that he usually only gets when he makes it himself!!! (I forgot to take a picture of the actual breakfast, so I settled for a pic of the leftover pancakes as some semblance of proof!)
Next, our new "sneaky" ritual of decorating his truck while he is working! After our V-Day "heart attack," this was a request from Ava that we do for Dad's birthday! Inside the truck we left just a few of his favorite things: Starburst, Swedish fish & a Hunting magazine!

Finally, his favorite dinner... Meat, potatoes and corn, with an actual picture of the meal and not the leftovers!

We'll be topping it all off with some root beer floats, another Jacob favorite, and some American Idol! Jacob's picks for tonight are: Lil Rounds, Scott MacIntyre, Jorge Nunez. We'll see if the birthday stars will be lining up in his favor!

Did you even make him his favorite homemade syrup? The truck decorations are pretty good.
