As usual I'm playing catch-up with the blog posting & the happenings in our family. I would honestly just stop blogging altogether, but I can easily have the blog turned into a book which makes for a nice family journal... especially since we don't take the time to write in an actual journal. So... let's get started!
As April was about 4 months ago, the only way I can remember what happened is to check the pictures on my phone & their dates! We were able to have fun Easter celebrations, both at home & in Utah with extended family (at least those that could make it). We planned a fun get together at Great Grandma's house so we could get to see her & spend time with her, because we don't get to do that often enough. She was excited for us all to come & we had a nice dinner & egg hunt for the cousins in her yard. We staged some good pictures with Great Grandma & all the kiddos too!
On our way to Easter events, we made a stop at the Ogden Eccles Dinosaur Park. It was a cool place to visit at least once, but it was hot that day & Lyndie wasn't completely cooperative so there was a lot of sore arms & hot kids with tired legs from walking around to gaze at all those big dinosaurs. We had to coerce Emma into taking some fun pictures with the dinosaurs.
A trip to the park turned up a few pictures, mostly because Ava & Emma fought over who was going to be taking Lyndie down the slide!
Pictures of sleeping babies are fun, especially when they look like these!
Lyndie got all dressed up to go visit friends in Logan with Mom. Who can resist such a cute baby?! While at lunch she tried a lemon! I'm pretty sure we've made all the kids try something sour! It's good for them, right?!
We had get creative during a grocery shopping trip, which prompted this picture. There was no keeping Lyndie happy, so we had to resort to this! (it worked for a while at least)
And finally, the school had a "Farmer for a Day" event complete with all sorts of farm things, farm animals & other things to do. They had an essay contest on "Why a farmer is important to me" & Ava got 2nd place & won some prizes!
